Hi there!

My name is Trudy Nelson and I am the creator of Trudy's Boutique.
I started Trudy's Boutique in 2013, after my mum, Trish (pictured above) was diagnosed with breast cancer. During this stressful time I found my passion for sewing as a de-stress and escapism hobby. I also found a knack and talent for making hair accessories.
I created the best selling wired hair tie as a way for women without any hair to be able to wear hair accessories (or men, as my dad is so lovingly styling, pictured above).
Now 9 years on Trudy's Boutique sells a multitude of hand made accessories, all made using Eco-friendly, animal friendly and vegan friendly methods and materials.
I also work alongside Macmillan and Alopecia charities to make a distribute hair accessories to people who need them.
